State and Local Public Policies in the United States is an ongoing research project and data compendium. The data are now available as of year-end 2000, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014 (some annually, and some back to the 1930s), allowing researchers to begin to analyze the determinants of policy change across the states on a wide range of variables.
